Safety on Ship to Ship due to collision

Strait of Batam-Singapore area is one of the world’s most congested straits used for international shipping where located on the border among three countries of Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore region.

Onboard Experiment on Collision & Safety

On 30 August 2014, a collaborated team from Osaka University, Kobe University, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and Ocean and Aerospace Research Institute, Indonesia has conducted onboard experiment on tracking marine navigation in Batam-Singapore region, as shown in Figures below.
