Authors are permitted to use AI-based platforms, to a limited extent for technical writing tasks, including grammar correction, word choice refinement, text summarization, and reference formatting. This technology is particularly beneficial for researchers who are not native English speakers, helping them produce work that is more easily understood.

However, this support is limited to editorial assistance, and authors are strictly prohibited from using AI to fabricate, simulate, or manipulate research data, statistical findings, experimental results, or visual materials like figures and diagrams. Violating these ethical standards by submitting AI-fabricated content will result in the immediate rejection or post-publication retraction of the manuscript.

Furthermore, aligning with established academic standards, AI tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors because they lack the capacity for substantial intellectual contribution and accountability. Authorship remains exclusively reserved for human researchers who take full responsibility for the published work.

To maintain academic transparency, authors must disclose any AI assistance utilized in preparing their manuscript within the Acknowledgments section or a dedicated declaration heading. Authors must explicitly name the tool used, specify the tasks performed, and confirm that they have reviewed, verified, and taken full responsibility for all final content.
