Vibration arising in a centrifugal pump shaft is a phenomenon occured due to the distance between the two couplings, the thickness and the width of belt, and the configuration of belt mounting position on the coupling. In this study, the distance of couplings, the thickness and the width of belt, and the configuration of belt mounting position on the coupling were varied. With this variation, the behavior of the existing vibration can be observed and known by using VQ-400-A OMETRON vibrometer connected to U3-LV labjack and then transmitted to PC in the form of digital to analog voltage. The result of this study showed that, to generate a relatively low vibration of 1.93 mm/s, the best mounting position for the belt of 7.5 mm thick, 145 mm wide, and flens distance of 5.5 cm was inward mounting position. The result of this study is expected to be able to become the reference in selecting the belt.

BEP based components of cash flow benefit and the cash flow cost that is annual obtained k=17 years, and based on the method discounted payback period is obtained k = 35 years if the highest interest rate of 12%, while the transfer of acquired positive NPV at rates up to a maximum interest rate on 13,927%, BCR is greater than zero on all interest rate analysisso as feasible. The payback period is based on components of cash flow and cash flow benefit is the annual cost of which was obtained k=7 years, whereas methods based on discounted payback period is obtained k = 25 years if the highest interest rate of 12%..

This paper presents a control method for 3D independent actuators using PDAFC (Proportional Derivative Active Force Control). PD is used to stabilize the actuators, where as AFC is used to reject disturbance uncertainty by estimating disturbance torque value of actuator. Simulation result shows that PDAFC can minimize disturbance uncertainly effect. To test the performances of a control system actuator given disorder constant and sine. To research it uses cube as an actuator. when give the actuators disturbance with the constant value of 45, to achieve setpoint actuators takes 1 second. This condition is in all actuators whether it was the yaw, pitch and roll. When give the actuators disturbance with the sine, to achieve setpoint actuators takes 1.25 second. This condition is in all actuators whether it was the yaw, pitch and roll.

The development of high-performance thermal systems has stimulated interest in methods to improve heat transfer. Tubes with artificial roughness obtained by providing dimples on the tube surface are competitive in comparison to performance and cost of other enhanced techniques currently employed in turbulent flow.
In this study forced convection heat transfer characteristics from dimpled tube has been investigated experimentally. The effect of variation in dimple diameter and dimple arrangement (inline and staggered) has been investigated for Reynolds No range 12000 to 26000 dimpled tube. Additionally the effect of variation in dimple tube and diameter on pressure drop across test section has also been investigated. This investigation was carried out to observe if the use of dimples on tube can enhance heat transfer characteristics without severe penalties associated with pressure drops for turbulent flow.
The results show that heat transfer enhancement under forced convection can be achieved by using dimple tubes. The enhancement in convective heat transfer coefficient is observed as 18% and in Nusselt number as 22 % as compared with plain tube for same Reynolds number. The thermal performance factor values for the staggered dimpled array geometry were more than corresponding inline dimpled array geometry in the Reynolds number range studied

This study is diversifikasil coal mine in South Kalimantan, namely low calorie ber (4,100 cal / g to 5,400 cal / g). Through the process of coal liquefaction kondensari dihasil, but still a fraction of the water of carbon and other elements, so it needs advanced process for separating liquid coal fuels. There are several stages of the process are carried out so that the phase change, namely Vacuum Process, Process Heating, Expansion Process, Process Condensation.

The research to know strong influence of current welding machine to mechanical denaturing of ship plate steel 545c by thickly 10mmmaterial ship plate steel 545c which is including difficult welding because it rate carbon (c) high relative effect of the highness hence result of welding prefer crack (fragile)the study is conducted with of welding machine with current 185 A to 225 A speed type and diameter electrode is same, but used high current. Result that welding ship plate steel with thick 10mm is welding by high current will become hard strong but fragile (easy to crack).Otherwise treatment with preheating will able to prevent crack of welding, because preheating process is good for minimizing to rated cooler welding result.

Indonesia is a tropical country that has abundant wind energy potential as well as it still rarely used as an energy resource. In the previous study the application of three stepper motors are used as wind turbine generator is not optimal its results, so it is required the optimization of the generator so that the power produced can be increased. Therefore, in this study 40 VDC AMETEK motor are used as wind turbine generator which will be analyzed in some variation of blade angle and speed of wind around 2-9 m / s. To achieve these objectives, the power generator testing is done using a wind tunnel and NACA 2420 as propeller blade of wind turbine. From the test results, generated maximum power is 20 watts at a speed of 7 m / s with power coefficient 0121.

At this time, we owning many geophysics method, that can be used to optimilize investigation and natural source exploration under layer surface, one of them is Georesistivity method. Georesistivity method is one of geophysics method that study about electricity in the earth and also to detect an object in the surface layer area of earth. The following, a technology is showed to investigation and analyzed aquifer at botanical garden area, Mekarmanik village, Pasir Impun, East Bandung West Java, using Georesistivity method, Wenner Configuration. In this research, will be do Georesistivity method with Wenner configuration and be processed with using inversion from software Res2DIV, and Isopach aquifer contour mapping, which previous be done the topography correction. Based on the inversion obtained, we be obtain to interpret some points which showed aquifer position, are as follow : 1). Line 1 on location 1, with the distance of extend is between 78 – 140 metre on surface layer. (It has medium aquifer) which the resistivity is 800 ohm metre, and also has porosity and volum value 25% and 945,9 m3 with the depth is 8,4462 until 14,986 metre. Its formation rocks at this location are sandstone, and limestone, anticline topography, dominated by normal fault which the trend is NE-SW. 2). Line 6 on location 1 (The highest aquifer) with the distance of extend is between 26 – 182 metre 26 - 160 metre, which the resistivity is 100 – 300 ohm metre, porosity and volum value are 14,14 – 18,26% and 1160,85 m3, with the depth target is 8.4827881 until 30.0074463 metre. Its formation rocks at this location are sandstone, alluvial and limestone, syncline topography, dominated by normal fault which the trend is NE-SW. And then the third is line 8 on location 2 with the distance of extend is between 26 – 182 metre, the resistivity is 100 ohm metre, which its porosity and volum are 14,14 %, and 264 m3, with depth target is 20 metre. It has undulation topography which the trend is SE – SW dominated by normal fault, and its formation rocks are tuff, sandstone, gravel formation.

To guard and manage maritime territories, a nation must have several stations located at strategic position. This mean, usually, a remote island or location close to border. These station must equipped with radar, AIS receiver and HF/VHF communication devices to interrogate every ships who passed the nation's border. Every stations should be connected to each other by telecommunication media means. The interconnections between stations are using old technologies of telephony. Cost of operation is increased every year.
These paper propose a strategy to migrate from dedicated line of telephony, to VOIP. Communication with VoIP can encourage us to change the old network of point to point dedicated line to more cheap and efficient network, such as MPLS. VoIP can be extended to serve conference. So communication is not just for 2 participants, but able to serve 3 or more participants. We developed VoIP system that can accommodate one or more participants to join conversation existed, thus forming a conference. We use conference bridge which is shipped together with Asterisk application, to multiplex all voice signal. In order to keep load of server Asterisk low, we use distributed server model.

In the process of providing drill pipe for oil and gas drilling required specifications that must be met. One of the requirements that must be met in one of the established standards internationally is about the connection process is commonly called coupling where the coupling connector must be coated with phosphate process. At PT. X Indonesia, implement one process commonly referred Mn phosphate. In this process a few points need to be achieved so that the product is satisfactory. These points one of which is the use of chemical heat should reach between 90 °C – 95 oC. Using heater is needed for reach that temperature. But in reality cannot stand alone required the heater control using PID control system with feeder behind using a thermocouple as heat sensors. PID control also requires the value of P, I, and D which would be obtained by calculation. If all is fulfilled then the plant can already be used. A PID control with a thermocouple sensor that will control the heater.
