Motivation
Offshore oil and gas exploration still poses challenges by the oil and gas industries, especially deep water. Many factors cause such challenges as waves and ocean currents, high pressure differences between surface and seabed, sea floor mapping, and others.
Introduction
Ocean & Aerospace Reasearch Institute, Indonesia has opened Professional Certificate Programme on Offshore Oil & Gas Production & Facilities.
The Professional Certificate Programme provides pasticipants deep, intensive and skill knowledge, which is necessary to explore and enter oil and gas industries (operator and contractors) such as PERTAMINA, Chevron, Petrobas, Total, ExxonMobile, BP.
Programme Objectives:
The programme is constructed based on Outcome Based Education (OBE) that bases each part of an educational system around outcomes. By the end of the educational experience, each participant should have achieved the goal. The classes and assessments will help participants achieve the specified outcomes.
The aims of the programme is to provide participants with technical knowledge and skill which is related to offshore oil & gas drilling, production and facilities such as fixed and floating structures, mooring and riser, pipeline, wellhead, tree, manifold, connection and jumper, Pipeline End Manifold/Terminator (PLEM/T).
Tuition Fee:
Tuition fees per semester by the programme is shown in the figure. Insya Allah, special discount will be given to the talent and smart participant but from poor families.
Programme Structure:
The participants will acquire knowledge as follow and courses description is presented in the figure.
- PCOE112 Offshore Engineering
- PCOE123 Subsea Drilling & Production
- PCOE132 Safety & Reliability
- PCOE142 Flow Behaviour & Assurance
